Mark Zuckerberg would have wanted to work for Microsoft as an engineer if he hadn’t lucked in with Facebook, so he told an audience at Stanford University.
Apparentely he was ‘in awe‘ of the tech companies when he spent the summer in Palo Alto.
He went on to talk about advertising on Facebook, pointing out that the adverts in the early days were used to generate money to buy servers and that the founders had always wanted Facebook to be more than just a profile site, with added features such as sharing and perhaps even adding course catalogs to the networking tools.

Mark Zuckerberg would have worked for Microsoft if Facebook never happened? And we would be travelling the world, living in a nice house, perhaps have a few cars and designer clothes, if we had built one of the most popular websites in the world and earned billions from it. Instead we are stuck here with the same day-to-day clothes, just like Mark Zuckerberg.
